How are predictions scored?

This page explains every scoring rule for the 2026 World Cup prediction game. League standings also use the total points earned under these rules.

Prediction windows

Match predictions close one minute before each kickoff.

Player awards and champion predictions lock on June 18, 2026 at 23:59.

Group predictions are settled on June 28, 2026 at 09:00.

Correct winner: 3 points

Correct goal total for either team: 1 point per team

Exact scoreline: extra 2 points

Example: if the match ends 2-1, a 2-1 pick earns 7 points in total.

Each correct group position: 5 points

Each correct Golden Boot, Golden Ball, and Golden Glove pick: 40 points

World Cup champion pick: 40 points

Turkey finish pick: 40 points

The individual leaderboard ranks users by total prediction points.

League leaderboard points are the sum of every member's prediction points.

The more correct picks a league makes, the higher its total climbs.
